Norman J Ramseyer, 72, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 5:55 pm on Sun, Jun 21, 2015 at his residence in Montpelier. He was born on Sat, Jul 4, 1942 in Wells Co., IN. Norman attended Petroleum High School. He retired from Ag-Best. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. Norman was a former member of the Indiana National Guard, Bluffton Unit. He had lived most of his life in Wells and Blackford County. Survivors include: son, Les Ramseyer, Hartford City, IN; daughter, Lorena “Missy” (husband, Charles) Pagel, Canton, MI; brother, Arthur Ramsey, Liberty Center, IN; brother, Dewayne Ramseyer, Bluffton, IN; brother, Dale Slater, Columbia City, IN; sister, Shirley (husband, Kai) Berry, Keystone, IN; sister, Velma Grover, Keystone, IN; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry E Ramseyer; mother, Violet (Slater) Ramseyer; brother, Forrest “Sonny” Ramseyer and brother, Jim Ramseyer.
There will be private services at a later date at Miller Cemetery.
