Rex L. Bartholomew, 54, of South Boardman, died Mon, Apr 11, 1994, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
He had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was employed by the Kalkaska Public Schools for 13 1/2 years prior to his retirement in 1990.
Mr. Bartholomew was born in Kalkaska on May 30, 1939, to Rex and Margaret Perry Bartholomew. On Jun 17, 1967, in Kalkaska, he was married to Barbara Padgett who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, LeRoy, Mark, and Rex Bartholomew all of Mancelona; three daughters, Pamela Thomason of Nashville, Arlene Long of Kalkaska, and Sandra Kleeman of South Boardman; his mother, Margaret Volner of Kalkaska; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Harry Bartholomew.
Funeral services were held Thu, Apr 14, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor James Hagler, pastor of the Harvest Tie Church of God, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
