Reatha Beatrice Schelske, 74, of South Boardman passed away Jan. 5. 2003.
She was born March 26,1928, in Fife Lake, the daughter of Hube and Milissa (Ingersoll) Beckwith.
Reatha married Alvin Schelske on Dec. 22, 1945. She lived for her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Schelske was a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved fried mushrooms, venison steak and bingo.
Mrs. Schelske is survived by her loving family including her children: Cecil Schelske of South Boardman, Doris (Robert) Argetsinger of South Boardman and Beatrice (Steve) Griffith of Washington state; 11 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; brothers: Charles "Dook" Beckwith of Fife Lake, Virgil Beckwith of South Boardman; and sisters: Virginia (Russell) Campbell. Mary Lou (Gordon) Dennis, Julia "Judy" Jordan and Lucy (Don) Elliott all of Fife Lake.
Mrs. Schelske was preceded in death by her husband Alvin; daughter Beverly Huntley; son Daniel Schelske; and grandson Butch Baughman.
Her funeral service will be held Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. at Wolfe Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lodi Cemetery.
