Patrick Lewis Brown, 78, of Battle Creek, passed away Thu, Jan 6, 2022. He was born Sep 23, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Harold Wellington Brown and Pauline Lucille (Lanning) Brown. Pat retired from Eaton Company. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Judith Ann Bell on Dec 31, 1963, and they spent 57 wonderful years together before Judy’s passing in 2021. Pat and Judy looked forward to spending their summers at Round Lake with their family.
Pat loved the outdoors and in his younger years he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. Pat was very musically inclined when it came to playing instruments and even hearing a tune and being able to replicate it. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Pat embodied the true meaning of a “family man”.
He is survived by his daughters: Amy (Terry) Calhoun and Deborah (Joseph) Baranek; daughter in law, Janey L Brown; grandchildren: Derek Baranek, Dylan Baranek, and Toni Calhoun; siblings: Dennis Brown and Sandra Brown; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lucille, wife, Judy; and son, Robert Lewis Brown.
Visitation will be held Sat, Jan 22, 2022 from 1 am to 1 pm at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with a time a sharing stories and memories of Pat to begin at 1 pm. Memorial tributes may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements by the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service.
