Harold W. Brown, 94, formerly of Battle Creek passed away Oct 15, 2014 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in FL. He was born Nov 18, 1919 in McBain, MI the son of John and Gertrude (VanWieren) Brown. Harold married Lucille Lanning in 1942 spending the last 72 years together. He worked at Battle Creek Packaging as a supervisor for 35 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, mushrooming, fishing and watching the Tampa Bay Rays.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; children, Pat (Judy) Brown, Dennis (Soila) Brown and Sandra Brown; siblings, Bob (Shirley) Brown, Wesley (Millie) Brown, Geanie (Darwin) Thornburg and Judy (Kent) Gerber; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gertrude; step mother, Agnus Brown; and siblings, Ted Brown and Lois Risher.
