Mrs. Patricia L Spencer, 65, of Kalkaska, died May 12, 1998, at the home of her daughter in Portland.
Mrs. Spencer spent her early years in Kalkaska and then moved to Columbiaville until returning to Kalkaska County in 1979. She was a member of Spencer Church of Christ, and a member and past president of Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, music, and playing the organ.
Mrs. Spencer was born in Kalkaska Mar 7, 1933, to Roy and Jennie Warcup Vipond. She married Vernon Spencer in Kalkaska on Jun 30, 1941. he died Aug 19, 1996.
Surviving are sons David spencer of Fenton and Donald (Megen) Spencer of Lapeer; daughters Debby (Dick) Novello of Holt and Dawn (Steve) Husch of Portland; brother Max Vipond of Lake Odessa; sisters Janet Earl of Marshall, Dorothy Holifield of Kalkaska, Olga Scheppler of OH, and Shirley Deardorf of TX; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services were held May 15 at Spencer Church of Christ. Michael Steere officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
