Olive L Radtke, 88, of South Boardman passed away Tue evening, Nov 18, 2003, at the Bay Medical Center of Panama City, FL. 

She was born to Paul H Haigh and Gertrude E Kinyon Haigh in Royal Oak on Jul 5, 1915, and raised in Dearborn. She married Carl J Radtke of Englewood, Kan, on May 29, 1941, and made their home in Warren, MI. They retired to their South Boardman farm in 1974 after raising their children. 

Olive loved her nation, her community and her church. She was well known for her volunteer work in many and varied ways. She was devoted to her family and was friend and mentor to many. 

She is survived by her children and their spouses: James Paul and Felicia Radtke of Youngstown, FL; Jane Ellen and Dean Hutchings of Portland, OR; Richard Allyn and Linda Radtke of South Boardman, and Frederick ARthur and Paula Radkte (Clinton Township); eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and eight step great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and their children. 

Olive was preceded in death by her husband , Carl; and sisters, Florence Richard and Mary L Sherman. 

A memorial/ celebration of life will be held in the spring in South Boardman where her ashes will be laid to rest next to Carl in the South Boardman Cemetery. Memorials may be sent in her name to the Peoples Church, 216 S Cherry St, Kalkaska, MI 49646, of the Alzheimer's Association North/ West Michigan Chapter 1040 Walnut, Traverse City, MI 49686.
