Carl J. Radtke, 72, a resident of South Boardman since 1975, died Sunday, January 13, 1991, at Munson Medical Center. Mr. Radtke moved from Warren and was a retired machinist. He was a marine, serving in the Pacific during WWII, and was a member of the American Legion in South Boardman. 

Mr. Radtke was born on May 7, 1918 in Englewood, Kansas to Paul and Nellie (Meier) Radtke. On May 29, 1941 in Dearborn, he married Olive Haigh, who survives. 

Also surviving are three sons, James P. Radtke of Panama City, Fla., Richard A. Radtke of South Boardman, and Frederick A. Radtke of Mt. Clemens; one daughter, Jane Ellyn Radtke Hutchins of Portland, Oregon; one brother, Edwin P. Radtke of Portland, Ore.,; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska, Rev. Paul Karges officiated.
