Norma L. Arnett, 90, of Marysville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June, 24, 2012. Praise God, her battle is won!
She was born August 11, 1921 in Pontiac to the late Owen and Violet VanWagoner. She married Ronald J. Arnett on May 29, 1940 in Port Huron. He died October 17, 2004.
She is survived by four children, David (Ruth) Arnett of Portage, Mark (Susan) Arnett of Marysville, Diane Cole of Port Huron, and Kathy (Steven) Down of Marysville; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and her good friend and neighbor, Eileen Ostrander. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gerald Cole; grandson, Jason Cole and sister, Maxine Bell. Visitation will be 2-4 &v 7-9 pm on Tuesday in the Marysville funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in Columbus Baptist Church. The Reverand Donald R. Pew will officiate. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to Columbus Baptist or the Gideons.
