Nellie J Setter, 67, of 3701 Burnsline Rd, Brown City, died Sat, Mar 30, 1991 in her home.
She was born December 16, 1923 in Brown City, the daughter of Ellis and Mabel Jeffers Stacy.
She married Charles Setter in Bowling Green, OH on October 3, 1942. They farmed together in Maple Valley Township.
Mrs. Setter graduated from Brown City High School.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; a daughter and son in law, Margaret and Carl Foster, and a son and daughter in law, Alonzo and Kimber Setter, all of Brown City; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; three brothers, George Stacy of Fife Lake, and William and Stanley Stacy, both of Lapeer; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Schriber of Brown City and Lila Mitchell of Lapeer.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marine Lance Corporal James Setter who was killed in action in Vietnam.
Services were conducted Mon in the Carman Funeral Home, Brown City. Rev. Dallas Berry, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
