Nellie Elizabeth Hall, 88, of Kalkaska passed away Wednesday. Dec. 4, 2002, in Kalkaska. She was born May 1, 1914, in Kalkaska, the daughter of Seymour and Nellie (Lewis) Soper. Nellie married Claud Lyle Hall on June 15, 1935. in Kalkaska. She was a lifelong resident of Kalkaska.

Mrs. Hall was a 4-H Leader for 50 years and a member of the Spencer Church of Christ. She shared her talent for arts and crafts with the community, family and friends. Mrs. Hall loved her family and made each of her grandchildren a special quilt.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughter Roberta (Martin) Woodhams of Kalkaska; brother Donald Soper of Kalkaska; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband Claud on. Jan. 13, 2002.

A graveside service was held Dec. 6, at Lodi Cemetery in Orange Township. The Rev. Dan Johnson of the Kalkaska Church of Christ officiated.

Memorials may be given in behalf of Mrs. Hall to Munson Hospice.
