Mitchel L. Olson, 77, of Gowen, passed away on Wed, Jun 21, 2023, with his family by his side.
He was born on Aug 21, 1945, in Pierson, to Leon & Laura Olson.
Mitchel graduated from Lakeview High School in 1963.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1964 and proudly served his country. He was honorably discharged in 1967.
Mitchel married Connie on Jul 12, 1969.
He worked for Tower and retired from Federal Mogul after 40 years of combined employment. After retirement, he ran a Alternator and small repair shop.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; children, Alan (Janet) Olson, Shanon Derosha, and Shelly (Justin) Malkowski; numerous grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Kevin (Jan) Olson, Cassie (John) Simmons, Diane Olson, and Marsh (Yvonne) Olson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Olson.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Christiansen’s Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.
