Laura F. Olson age 81 of Pierson, MI died Monday June 13, 2005 at Metron of Greenville. She was born on January 16 1924 in Jennings MI the daughter of Sigfred and Ruth VanArsdale Nordenberg. On August 23, 1943 in Tustin MI she married Leon F. Olson. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2004 and also preceded by her sister Betty Pitz. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved her crocheting and gardening and will be missed by her family and her little dog. She is survived by her children; Mitch (Connie) Olson of Gowen, Mike (Sherry) Olson and Kevin (Jan) Olson of Pierson, Cassie (John) Simmons of Gowen, Diana Olson of Benzonia and Marsh (Yvonne) Olson of Coral, 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, sisters; Rose Debri of Wyoming, Emma Jean Doxtater of Rockford and Ina Sloat of Fife Lake, brother in law George (Beulah) Dann of Pierson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Thursday June 16, 2005 at 1pm from Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Pastor Doug Bergsma of Resurrection Life Worship Center of Rockford officiating. Burial will be in Pierson Cemetery.
