Mary F. Elzay, 85, of here, died at 10:58 am Friday at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Elzay was born Oct 13, 1905, in Gilboa, the daughter of Marion and Zella Jones Hixson. In November 1925, she married Russell Elzay, who died in February 1974.
A homemaker, Mrs. Elzay was a member of Bluffton Trinity United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Bluffton Senior Citizens and Poinsettia Club. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clair (Dorothy) Withrow of Findlay and Mrs. Joan Scott of Bluffton; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one brother, Raymond Hixson of Hillsboro.
Services will be at 10 am Monday at Chiles and Sons-Laman Bluffton Chapel, Rev. R. Keith Rader officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery near Mount Cory.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Sunday at the funeral home.
