Sefernick, Mary Ellen Ackerson, 90, of Spruce, died Wednesday, April 5, at Alpena Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by six daughters, Mary (Jerry) Elliott of Highland, Jackie (Rolland) Lynch of Spruce, Suzie (John) Hinde of Vassar, Nancy (Randy) Gale of Grand Rapids, Grace (Larry) Kalk of Oconto, Wis., Nina Ackerson of San Diego, Calif.; three sons, Raymond (Beth) Ackerson of Troy, Art (Paulette) Ackerson of Grand Rapids, Robert (Karen) Ackerson of Holly; four step-daughters, Sharon (Sid) Rimatski of Spruce, Janice (Tom) Malenfont of Ossineke, Sue Lentz of St. Clair and Jennifer Skuse of Port Huron; 26 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at the Hubbard Lake Baptist Church at 2p.m. Pat Anderson, elder, will officiate. Cremation arrangements were handled Gillies Funeral Home.
