Mr. James Simpson of 20340 Mayfield, passed away Sept 22, at Mt. Carmel Hospital. He had been ill only two days.
Mr. Simpson was born Jan 12, 1887, in Sanilac County and was 61 years old at the time of his death. He leaves his wife, Grace and three daughters, Mrs. Eva Grace Willet, Mrs. Mary Ellen Ackerson, and Mrs. Norma Jean Brugman. He also leaves six grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers.
The body remained at the Heeney Funeral Home until Sat morning and services were held at the Baptist Church at 12 o’clock noon, with Rev. Fred Fisher officiating. Interment was at Grand Lawn Cemetery.
