Mrs. Letha N. Downey, 65, of R. 1/4 Newaygo, died Monday at Allegan Hospital, Allegan.
The daughter of Norman and Sylvia Demmon, she was born on Dec 29, 1910.
Mrs. Downey is survived by her husband, Wilbur; three daughters, Mrs. John (Betty) Battenfield of Newaygo, Mrs. Dewey (Shirley) Huitt of Allegan, and Mrs. Ray (Donna) Wilson of Manton; three sisters, Mrs. Rozelda Brewer and Mrs. Cecil Strom, both of Florida, and Mrs. June Shirk of Gary, Ind, 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley. The Rev. Lewis Buchner will officiate. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery, Fife Lake.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.
