Leona Bell Calkins, 89, of Roscommon and formerly of Kalkaska, passed away on July 27. 2003.
She is the mother of James R. (Roberta) Calkins of Spring Arbor, Roberta J. (Victor) Babcock of Bois Blanc Island and Dana M. (Bob Jr.) Ingersoll of Fife Lake.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grand- children and two great-great-grandchildren.
Leona was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Calkins, in 1975 and second husband, Merle Calkins, in 1991, six sisters and three brothers.
Visitation was held on July 29 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 30, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kim Conant officiating.
Interment will be at Garfield Township Cemetery on West Sharon Road, Kalkaska County.
Memorials may be given in behalf of Leona to Kalkaska County Commission on Aging, 303 S. Coral St., Kalkaska, Mich. 49646.
