L. Lawton Hall, 73, of South Boardman, passed away Sun, Sep 23, 2001, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born on Feb 13, 1928 to the late Robert and Eva (Shaffer) Hall in South Boardman. 

Lawton served in the Korean Conflict and received two Purple Hearts. He married Helen Kleehammer Aug 23, 1953. 

He was a life-long resident of South Boardman, and he was a farmer and worked with timber. He was also a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ. 

He is survived by his loving family; wife, Helen; daughter, Judy (David) Hill, son Michael (Kelli) Hall, daughter in law, Julie Hall, all of South Boardman; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by son Gary in Jul of 2001, and brothers, Theris, Harry, Fredrick, Gordon and Burton. 

The funeral service was held Sep 26 at the Wolfe Funeral Home. Mark A. McCool, Pastor of Antrim Church of Christ officiated. Interment was at the Hall Family Cemetery in South Boardman. 

Memorials may be made to Hall Family Cemetery.
