Kim Y Heisman, 50, of Michigan City passed away on Mon, May 14, 2012 at her home in Michigan City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Loren Hodum officiating. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the Root Funeral Home and on Friday from 10 to 11 am at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
American Legion Post #37 will conduct full military rites at the cemetery on Friday.
Kim was born Dec 28, 1961 in Michigan City to the late Donald W. and Faye (Lawson) Heisman.
Surviving are two sisters: Barb (John) Spisiak of Littleton, CO and Donna (Stan) Lowe of MO; two brothers: Scott (TJ) Heisman of Michigan City and Robert (Donna) Heisman of Moorehead, NC; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kim loved to fish and spend time in the outdoors camping and canoeing. She also loved her special pets very much.
