Kenneth F. Sweet, 89, of Rapid City, died Mon, May 22, 2000 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
Mr. Sweet was born in Grand Rapids on Sep 29, 1910, to Ray and Muriel Neuman Sweet.
He married Mildred Newton in Detroit on Feb 15, 1947.
She preceded him in death on Oct 31, 1995.
Prior to his retirement in 1973, Mr. Sweet was employed by Wrigley Super Markets, and resided in Holly. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, watching auto racing and cards.
Surviving are son Ray Sweet of Arlington,, MA; daughters Joan Marie (Charles) Martell of Raymond, NH, and Mary Ellen (Jim) Morrill of Brockton, MA; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Son Kenneth and brother Harold preceded him in death.
Funeral services were May 24 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Pastor David McCool officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
