John “Jack” Edward Humble, age 68, of Peck passed away Tue, May 23, 2017 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital. Jack was born May 28, 1948 in Lapeer to the late George Humble and Lila (Stacy) Mitchell. He married Helen Alexander on Mar 26, 1966 in Peck, MI. Jack worked at Werner Tool in Yale and the Grupo in Marlette until his retirement. He was a muscle car and antique car fanatic and enjoyed tinkering in his garage.
Jack is survived by his wife and best friend of 51 years, Helen Humble; two daughters, Brenda (Kevin) Cutler, Marjie (Rodney) Potter; one son, Kevin (Kristen) Humble; four grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Potter, Cassie Humble and Lacie Black; two great grandchildren, Riley and Elijah; special family, Cori Burns, Miranda Mitchell and Bill Stacy; two brothers, Burr (Sherry) Mitchell and Stacy Mitchell; three sisters, Cheryl (Ken) Mason, Patti (Chuck) Phelps, and Mary Mitchell (John).
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Humble and his step-father, Burr Mitchell.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 8pm Thu, May 25, 2017 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Sandusky and from 10am until the time of service Fri, May 26, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Fri, May 26, 2017 at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky with Pastor Jerry Griggs officiating.
Burial will take place at Christian Memorial Gardens in Peck, MI.
