Jackie Hatfield, 71, of South Boardman passed away on May 14, 2004, with her family by her side at the Eden Center of Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Born on Sep 2, 1932, in Portland, she was the daughter of Leon and Mabel (Nicholson) Blackmer.
Jackie married Gary E. Hatfield on Aug 25, 1951, in Grayling. They were residents of South Boardman since 1963. Jackie was a devoted wife and mother. Her grandchildren were her joy. She loved reading her Bible, gardening, and sewing. Jackie was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Kalkaska.
Surviving Jackie are her husband 52 years, Gary; her children, Diane (Gary) Kniss and Robert (Carlen) Hatfield; her grandchildren, Michael (Tina) Kniss, Lisa Hatfield and Bob Hatfield; her great grandchildren, Logan and Mackenzie Kniss, and her sister, Donna (Cornelius) Uitvlugt.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service at Boardman Township Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
