Herman B. Webb, 66, of South Boardman, died Sat, Dec 30, 1995, at his residence. 

Mr. Webb had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ and the American Legion. he was a former 4-H leader and parttime Kalkaska County Sheriff's deputy. He enjoyed birds, photography, and knitting. 

Mr. Webb was born in Kalkaska County on Jan 7, 1929, to John B and Opal Lamerson Webb. He married Jean E. Brown on Sep 27, 1952 in Grand Rapids. 

Surviving are his wife, Jean; one son, Willys Webb of Calhoun, IL; two daughters, Wendy Foster and Wanetta Sherwood both of South Boardman; nine grandchildren and one brother, Harold Webb. 

Funeral services were held Tue, Jan 2, 1996, at the Kalkaska Church of Christ. E. Dan Johnson officiated. Military rites will be under the auspices of Land O'Lakes V.F.W. Post 8684. Burial will be in Olive Township Cemetery, Ottawa County. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kalkaska Church of Christ, Grand Traverse Area Hospice, or the American Cancer Society in memory of Herman Webb.
