The death of Henry Stuck of Greenbush Township, occurred at 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at his home. He had been in ill health for several years.
Mr. Stuck was the son of Moses and Sally Buck, and was born September 24, 1875 in Lenawee County, Michigan, where he spent his childhood. He came to Alcona County in 1930 from Virginia. He was a retired farmer. His marriage to Myrtle McCalla took place February 28, 1898 in Midland.
Survivors include his widow; three sons and two daughters, Kenneth of Washington D.C.; Benjamin of Providence Forge, Virginia; Loyal of Richmond, Virginia; Mrs. Frieda M. Knight of Gordonsville, Virginia; and Mrs. Cora M. Glaysher of Maidson Heights, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Cora Bundy of Santa Monica, California, and a brother, William C. Stuck, of Gladwin, Michigan; sixteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, from the Gillies’ Funeral Home. Rev. Erwin Wanner of Bay City, will officiate, and the body will be taken to Royal Oak for interment in White Chapel Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
