Mrs. Hattie I Way Rolison, 71, of Kalkaska, died Tue, Feb 7, 1995, at Munson Medical Center.
She had been a life-long resident of Kalkaska County. She attended Assembly of God Churches, was a fantastic gardener, and she enjoyed crafts, birds, rock collecting, and her grandchildren. She was born on Jul 25, 1923, in Kalkaska County, to Albert and Nellie M Wildfong Triplett. On Jul 27, 1942, in Plymouth, she married Irvin Eugene Way, who preceded her in death on Feb 10, 1976. On Jul 1, 1988, in Harbor Beach, she married Russell G. Rolison, who preceded her in death on Jan 20, 1992.
Surviving are three sons, Neil Way of Kewadin, Rick Way of Williamsburg, and Billy Way of Traverse City; two daughters, Shirley Monroe of Fife Lake and Diane Heymes of Kalkaska; one brother, Frank Triplett of Kalkaska; two siters, Cora Hittle of Harbor Beach and Lillian Morris of Kalkaska; 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sons, Little Elmer; three brothers, Lee, Marion, and Johnny, and one sister, Nancy.
Funeral services were held Thu, Feb 9, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. Mike Mitchell officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
