Roger Lanning, of Lake City, passed away Sat, Jun 18, 2016, at the Seasons of Life AFC Home in Lake City. He was 80 years old.
Robert was born Aug 7, 1935, at home in Forest Township, Missaukee County, to Earl and Norma (Shrontz) Lanning.
In his younger years, he enjoyed working in the Christmas Trees. He also liked to fish and get the mail and spend time with family.
Roger is survived by his sisters, Patricia (Gerald) Tisch of Grass Lake and Helen (Kip Helsel) Wagner of Lake City; as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends, Jordan and Candice Shepler of Lake City.
He was preceded in deth by his parents; brother in law, Burdette Wagner; and sister, Jackie.
There will be a memorial gathering at 1 pm on Sat, Jun 25, 2016, at the Lake City Cemetery. A celebration of his life luncheon will follow at the home of Helen Wagner, 3240 N. 7 Mile Rd, Lake City.
