Frederick Warren Perrin, 89, of Fife Lake, passed away Tue, Oct 6, 2009, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. 

He was born on Jan 18, 1920 in Kalkaska, to the late Benjamin Robert and Katie (Lund) Perrin.

Frederick proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He loved baseball, playing several years for Garfield Township and Kysor. 

Frederick followed the Detroit Tigers faithfully. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his cars. 

Another love of Frederick's was spending time with his family and friends; he could always be counted on to have a good story to tell.

Frederick was a member of the Cadillac Gun Club. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving Frederick is his dear brother, Alan Devere (Louise) Perrin of Fife Lake; his attentive great nieces, Katie, Lindsay, and Emily Gondol of Fife Lake; and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Frederick was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Donald and Gilbert Perrin. 

Visitation for Frederick was held Thu, Oct 8, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm and again from 6-9 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. 

Funeral services were Fri, Oct 9, at 1 pm also at the funeral home. 

Pastor Seth Wetherald of the Garfield Country Church, officiated the proceedings. Burial at the Garfield Township Cemetery immediately followed.
