Frederick K. Laing, 83, a resident of Kalkaska since 1974, died Mon, Feb 22, 1993, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Laing had been a plumbing and heating contractor in the Pontiac area prior to his retirement when he moved to Kalkaska. He was a member of Plumbing and Pipe Fitters Local No 98.
Mr. Laing was born in Clearfield County, PA on Aug 29, 1909 to John and Margaret (Young) Laing. On Aug 31, 1932, in Angola, IN, he was united in marriage with Pauline Carpenter who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ronald Laing of Harrison; one daughter, Barbara Robins of Millersburg; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
Funeral services were held at Thu, Feb 25, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska.
Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of the Peoples Church, officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
