Frances V.M. Boyd, 91, of Rochester, NY, formerly of Kalkaska, died Jan 28, 1999, at the Episcopal Church Nursing Home in Rochester.
Mrs. Boyd was born in Kalkaska on May 30, 1907, daughter of the late Orville and Viola May (Adams) Richardson.
She spent her early years in Kalkaska and then resided in Grand Rapids, Detroit, Muskegon, Miami, FL, and Charlotte, NC, prior to moving to Rochester in 1998.
Surviving are sons DeVere Boyd of NC, Dr. Robert Boyd of MA, and Richard Boyd of Ludington; brother Robert Richardson of Kalkaska; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Brothers Vern, George, and Raymond preceded her in death.
Memorial services were Jun 12 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Rev. Paul Karges officiated. Inurnment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
