Frances M (Hagni) Miller, 87, life-long resident of Kalkaska, passed away on Jun 21, 2004, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Long Term Care.
Born on May 8, 1917, in Kalkaska, she was the daughter of Sherbin A and Clara (Zarick) Prentice. Frances married Everton H Hagni on Nov 1, 1939. Following his death, she married Kenneth Miller on Apr 13, 1991.
Frances was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed being on the go and was a member of the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church.
Frances is survived by her children; Goldie (Edwin) Pratt of Gladwin, Violet Adams of Traverse City, Evelyn (Stephen) Handy of WY, Duane Hagni of Kalkaska, Richard Hagni of Ionia, Kathern (Pastor James) Hagler of Kalkaska, Everton Hagni of Kingsley, and Janet (Roger) Roberts of Kalkaska; brother, Sherman Prentice of Greenville; 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by both her husbands, Everton Hagni and Kenneth Miller; and siblings, Jess Prentice, Bill Prentice, Frank Prentice, Lucille Prentice, and Arlene (Prentice) Carrier.
The funeral service was held on Fri, Jun 25, at Wolfe Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Kuiper of the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment was at Excelsior Township Cemetery.
