Mrs. Evelyn (Gillette) Wolbert, aged 80, of Grandville, passed away Wed, Jan 18, 1995. She was the daughter of Victor and Elizabeth Gillette, born Apr 15, 1914 in Traverse City, and the wife of Harry Wolbert for 52 years. She is survived by her children, Judith (Gerrit) Wiers and Michael (Shannon) Wolbert of Hudsonville; eight grandchildren, Chris (Lois), Kathy (Kevin), Bruce (Tammy), Allen, Jeff, Bryan, Sheila (Brian), and David; nine great grandchildren, Dmiti, Paxton, Avril, Zach, Amanda, Alex, Ellie, Ben and Kailey; a sister, Betty Deremo of Grand Haven; a sister in law, Lee Gillette of Wyoming; a brother in law, Henry (Cornelia) Wolbert of Holland; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Mon at 10:30 am from the Grandville Chapel of the Cook Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Hasper officiating. Cremation and interment at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Greater Grand Rapids.
