Ethel Mae Hahn, 84, of Rapid City died Thu, Jun 16, 1994, at Traverse City Community Hospital. 

Mrs. Hahn was born May 9, 1910, in Salem, OH, the daughter of William and Ella Mae (Snyder) Heaps. She moved to Detroit at the age of nine and to the Torch Lake area in 1946. 

On Jan 16, 1927, in Bowling Green, OH, she married Wilfred D. Hahn. 

Together they managed the Chippewa Trail Camp for Girls on Elk Lake in the 40s and 50s. She also was a retail manager for the Brownwood Acres Honey House on Torch Lake for over 20 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, needlework and had a great fondness for her grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Michelle Hahn. 

Surviving are her husband, Wilfred "Jack" Hahn; one son, Delbert W. (Gail) Hahn of Alma; two grandchildren, Mari Lynn Greiff of Dartford, England, Daniel W. Hahn of Elk Rapids; two great grandsons, Nicholas Daniel and James B. Greiff of England. 

Graveside funeral services were held Mon, Jun 20, at Lakeview Cemetery, Torch Lake Township near Eastport. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clearwater Township Fire and Rescue Squad, Rapid City, MI 49676. Arrangements were made by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
