Eljean Lee Belmonte, age 61, died August 19, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Kalamazoo, MI.
She was born August 22, 1948 in Mineola, NY, and married Larry Belmonte in 1970. Jean graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1966 and moved to Battle Creek, MI in 1975. Jean was last employed at the Pension Benefit Designers, Inc. in Battle Creek, MI. She enjoyed to garden and be outdoors. Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Elliott; son Joseph Belmonte; 3 grandchildren; sister, Jessie Niesen; brothers, Vince and Dan Carnes. Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Gauld in 2001 and step father, Lyman Gauld in the mid 1970’s. A Memorial Service will be on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11 AM at the Pachesny-Jend Funeral Home in Muskegon, MI. Memorial Donations to local Rescue Missions or the American Cancer Society.
