Dines Frederikson, 77, passed away Sept 29, 1954, at Veterans Hospital in Saginaw, following a long illness. Burial was made in the Clark Cemetery near Fife Lake. Services were conducted from the Fife Lake M.E. Church.
Mr. Frederikson had been a resident of Garfield township for 49 years. The past six years he has lived with his daughter, Mrs. Floyd Robinson in Lansing.
Deceased was born in Denmark. He came to this country at the age of 16. years.
Death was caused by Lukemia and pneumonia. He was forced to undergo the amputation of both limbs above the knees, two years ago, because of his illness, however he was in good spirits until about five weeks prior to his death.
Besides the daughter with whom he lived, he is survived by one son, Harry Frederikson of Fife Lake, one grandson of Cleveland, Ohio, twin great granddaughters, and a host of friends.
Services were under the auspices of the American Legion Post of Kalkaska.
