Claire E. Withrow, 70, died at 11:30 am Jul 25, 1994, at The Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus.
He was born Sep 8, 1923, in Wood County to Glen E. and Mabel Rudolph Withrow. On Jul 23, 1945 he married Dorothy R. Elzay, who survives.
Mr. Withrow was a retired farmer and plumber.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Rawson and a WWII Navy Medical Corps veteran of the Pacific Theater.
Survivors also include a son, Russel C. Withrow of DuBois, PA, a daughter, Barbara Jean (John D) Starr of Findlay; a brother, Merlin Withrow of Findlay; and four grandchildren.
Services will begin at 1 pm. Thursday at the Coldren Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. The Revs. Wade Shank and Steven R. Wise will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Rawson and/or the James Cancer Research in Columbus.
