Charles “Charlie” Bosher, 90, of Dowling, MI, passed away on Jul 21, 2023 at his home holding his wife’s hand. He was visited in the preceding days by numerous family members. He was born on Nov 17, 1932 the son of Mary Emaline Bosher (Jackson), Ollie Bosher, and stepfather, Pete Bramble.
Charlie was a member of the American Legion, the VFW, and St. Mary’s Lake Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his family, and reading about history. He is loved and respected by a large family and many close friends who will miss him dearly.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Norma Bosher; daughters, Sandra Barnes, Diane (Darrel) Hawthorne; step children, Angel (James) Downey, Nick (Andrea) Brown, Sandie McCarthy-Brown; grandson, Vaughn Kasdorf; step grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua, Sarah, Bradly, Haylee, Ryan, Adam, Drew, and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Tue, Jul 25, 2023 from 11:30 to 12 noon, with the funeral service following at 12:00 noon with Pastor Steve Olmstead officiating.
Interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek, MI.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, or the American Legion in Battle Creek, MI, organizations Charlie felt strongly about.
