Charles Timmons, age 62, passed away last Thursday, April 20, at his farm in Springfield Township after suffering some time with apoplexy. Mr. Timmons had lived in that part of the country for the greater part of his life, coming from Lachute, Canada, to Michigan. He raided three sons and two daughters, the sons are now living near the old home and are William, Ernest and Watson. One daughter, Mr. Gladys Bosse lives at Fife Lake while the other daughter lives in another part of the state.
The deceased lost his wife seventeen years ago.
Funeral services were held at the Clark Church at two-thirty o'clock. Rev. Sam Long preached the sermon while W.W. Brower of Fife Lake was in charge of arrangements. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery, beside the grave of his wife.
