Charles C. Rabourn, 60, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Wed, Dec 3, 1997.
"Chick" Rabourn was born and raised in Kalkaska, moving to Grand Rapids in 1954. He retired this year from Spartan Stores after 31 years of service. He was a member of First Assembly of God church and Grand Rapids Camera Club. An avid Grand Rapids Griffins fan and season ticket holder, he loved sports and traveling to the mountains and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat. Also surviving are children Mike Rabourn, Brian (Dorothy) Rabourn, Dan (Beth) Rabourn and Jim Rabourn; grandchildren Ben, Amanda, Candace, Ted, Patti, Jacqui, Danny, and Jessica; his mother Margaret Louise Rabourn; brothers Steve (Bobby), Don (Shirley) and Mack (Hazel) Rabourn; sister Sheri (Martin) O'Shea; brothers in law and sisters in law Carol and Hank, Sonny, Rick, Gary, and Pat and mother in law Elsie Humphrey.
Mr. Rabourn will be dearly missed by his many family, friends, and B.T., who enjoyed his love and care.
Funeral services were held Dec 8 at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, Grand Rapids. Pastor Larry Alverson officiated. Internment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
