Brady L. Stokes, 67, of Fife Lake, passed away at his home Wednesday, December 5, 1945.
Mr. Stokes was born in Erie County, Pennsylvania, February 6. 1878, the son of Fred and Addie Stokes. The family came to Michigan when he was two years old, settling in Benzonia County.
He was married to Mrs. Ella Harvey November 21, 1907.
Mr. and Mrs. Stokes lived for the last 17 years in Springfield Township. This summer they purchased a home in Fife Lake and moved there. Mr. Stokes has been ill the past nine months.
Surviving besides the widow are one step son, William E. Harvey of Lansing, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; six half brothers and six half sisters as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Fife Lake, Saturday, Dec 8, at 2:30. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery.
