Bernard L. Kipp, Sr., 50, of Rapid City, died Thursday, February 21, 1991 at Grand Traverse Community Hospital.
At the time of his death, Mr. Kipp was employed as a maintenance man for Clearwater Township. He moved to Rapid City 10 years ago from Flint.
He was born in Flint on July 31, 1940 to Clarence and Henreitta Pottenburgh Kipp who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lona Szarafinski.
Surviving are two sons, William Kipp of Flint and Bernard Kipp Jr of Rapid City; four daughters, Tina Larson of Tawas, Lois Pate and Lucinda Cavazos both of Flint, and Susan Kipp of Rapid City; his companion, Patricia Ondrias of Rapid City; two brothers, Clarence Kipp of Flint, and Gordon Kipp of Mt. Morris; five sisters, Bernice Cone of Flint, Phyllis Tucker of Prescott, Patricia Brow of Lake Leelanau, Jean Winter of Durand, and Margie Gerous of Rapid City; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday Feb 24, 1991, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Jerry Leazenby, pastor of the Rapid City Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
