Audrey H Byers, 98, a resident of Kalkaska since 1982, died Sun, Nov 5, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Byers was born Oct 15, 1902, in Monticello, IN, the daughter of John W and Carrie (Hanaway) Sparks. She married Ray Wang in Chicago on Aug 15, 1927. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1980. In 1981, she was united in marriage with Ralph Byers, who died Feb 21, 1990.
Surviving are stepson Edward Wang of Hammond, IN; stepson and nephew Robert Byers and his wife Marilyn of Royal Oak; stepdaughter and niece Elizabeth Byers of St. Louis, MO; sister Doris Bertalan of Waterville, MN; four nieces; two nephews; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Stepson Raymond Wang, step daughter Marie Wang, a brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at Wolfe Funeral Home at 10am Wed, Nov 8. Rev Robert Stark officiated.
Additional visitation and services will be at the Virgil Huber Funeral Home in Hammond, IN. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.
