Arnold A. Gerds, 67, Oscoda, a former Fargo resident, died Monday in St. Joseph’s Hospital , Tawas City, after a short illness.
Gerds was a civilian employee at Wurtsmith AFB, Oscoda. He was a member of Brockway Lodge No 316 F & AM.
He was born Jun 7, 1905, in Detroit. He lived in Oscoda the last 12 years.
Surviving are his widow, the former Olive Morgan, and a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Boehm, Detroit.
The remains were to be in Rister Funeral Home, Avoca, after 4pm today. Funeral services will be held there at 1 pm Thursday.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Fargo.
