Alice Luella VanderBrook of Cadillac, formerly of Fife Lake, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, at Mercy Hospital, Cadillac, She was 90.
Mrs. VanderBrook was born May 15, 1909 in South Boardman, to Grant and Olive (Butler) Wonsey. She married Otis Burdette VanderBrook Dec. 26, 1929 in Kalkaska.
Mrs. VanderBrook had lived in Cadillac since 1977, coming from Fife Lake where she had lived for 45 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rebekahs Lodge of Fife Lake.
Survivors include daughters, Florence (Clarence) Rivard of Shelby Township, Winona (LeRoy) Books of Cadillac; sons, James D (Lois) VanderBrook of Fife Lake, and Jay W. (Tamara) VanderBrook of Cadillac; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Burdette VanderBrook; five sisters; two brothers; and a great grandson, Shane Heyd.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Monday at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley, Pastor Bob Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Township Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
