A Fostoria woman died early Sat following injuries received in a crash Fri afternoon on E. Lake Rd. at the Otter Lake village limits.
Mrs. Agnes Sewell, 76, received the fatal injuries when her husband, Isley, 79, lost control of his truck on a curve. It sideswiped a tree and then hit a culvert.
Mr. Sewell suffered a head injury and cuts. Ben Schreder, 78, who was riding with them, was cut. All were taken to the Lapeer hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sewell were held Tue morning at Groves Chapel in Flint. Burial was at Flint Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sewell was born in Ingham County, Jul 27, 1879, the daughter of John and Mary Graham. She had lived in Fostoria the past six years, moving there from Flint.
