Young H. Berry, Sr., 56, of Southgate, died Wednesday, January 2, 1991 at his residence.
Mr. Berry was born in Blytheville, Ark. on April 25, 1934, son of the late Allen and Notra Young Berry. On Dec. 31, 1953, in Southgate, he was united in marriage with Kay Mathias who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Young Berry Jr of Taylor, Christopher Berry of Romulus, and Adam Berry of Lincoln Park; two daughters, Phaeton Burd of Taylor, and Rebekah Newling of Southgate; one brother Allen Berry, Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn.; one sister, Mary Agee of Rector, Ark; and 10 grandchildren.
Family funeral services were held Saturday, Jan 5, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
