Yolanda Jane Light, 46, of Mancelona, died Mon, Jul 28, 1997, at University Medical Center in Ann Arbor.
She moved to Kalkaska from Wayne in 1985, and was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, and shopping.
Born in Ypsilanti on May 29, 1951, she was the daughter of Howard and Marvaleen (Mapes) Connell.
Surviving are sons, Scott, Mark (Tiffany) an Brian Light all of Kalkaska; daughter Carla Light of Lansing; her parents of Manitou Beach; sisters, Debbie Valle of Tecumseh and Carol Otter of Byron; her special friend, John Hefel of Mancelona; two grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Oscar Holloway officiated. Burial was in Westwood Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
