Wilma Jean Childs, 74, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Feb 5, 2001, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Childs was born in Detroit on Jan 18, 1927, to Louis and Flossie Hayner risdon. She married Chester H Childs in Unionville. He preceded her in death in 1969.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the Square D company in Clearwater, FL for 15 years. She was a member of Wisner United Methodist Church in Wisner.
Surviving are her daughter Katherine (Clifford) Maxwell of Bainbridge, GA; grandson Bryan Maxwell and granddaughter, Tiffany Maxwell, both of Bainbridge; nephew Douglas Risdon; and nieces Shirley Bush, Home Spears and Mary Wright.
Brothers Russell and Vern Risdon preceded her in death.
