Willis J. Tait, 76, of Remus, died August 26, 1990 at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Tait was a former emmber of the International Organization of Odd Fellows in Kalkaska and a past president of Kalkaska Rotary. He was at one time a superintendent at Wayne Wire Cloth Products, inc. in Kalkaska.
He was born April 26, 1914 to Miles W. and Maggie A. (Messer) Tait. He lived most of his life in the Maples Rapids area and the last 12 years in Remus. He was married to Fannie E. Iler in Marion on Aug 26, 1938, she survives.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Marilynne Kimmel of Weidman and Myrna Perrin of Barryton; two sons, William J. and Sandra Tait of Hastings and Jeffery M. and Jamie Tait of Rockford; four brothers; three sisters; 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and several cousins.
