Mr. William Robert Forwerck, age 69, of Mio, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside Services will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
William was born on January 10, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Fallis (Snavely) Forwerck.
He was raised in Toledo, working as a salesman for most of his life. He moved to Mio six years ago upon his retirement.
William was a member of the Mio Moose Lodge who enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and playing cards. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his quick wit.
William is survived by his children: Carla (Jeff) Waite, Daniel (Tammy) Woodin, and Christen (Casey) Ellis; his 8 grandchildren: Celsey, Cody, Dillon, Emma, Wyatt, Rachael, Brooke, and Daniel; and his brothers: Jim (Linda) Forwerck, and Chuck (Carol) Forwerck.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Paul Forwerck.
